Requirements
proven experience in Construction environment
proven experience in construction and demolition roles is essential
any CPCS or NPORS training would be beneficial
CPCS D90 and A59 categories or equivalent are required
strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy equipment operation
previous experience working on construction sites with heavy equipment operation is essential
experience operating cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery is highly desirable
ability to perform heavy lifting and handle materials safely
logistics manager
Responsibility
develop maintain and execute the site logistics plan in alignment with the overall project programme
manage and control all site access, deliveries, traffic management and material movements
coordinate delivery scheduling, offloading and storage to optimise site efficiency and minimise disruption
oversee site facilities including welfare areas, hoarding, signage and security measures
ensure compliance with all statutory health safety and environmental requirements, promoting best practice at all times
implement and manage waste management, recycling and sustainability initiatives
liaise with the project management team, subcontractors, suppliers and external stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of logistics operations
prepare and maintain accurate records including delivery schedules, permits and logistics reports
Requirements
demonstrable experience in a logistics management or coordination role with large scale fast paced construction projects
comprehensive understanding of construction sequencing and supply chain management
proven ability to develop and manage complex logistics plans on constrained or high profile sites
strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental principles
CSCS and SMSTS required along with a full UK driving licence
excellent communication, coordination and problem solving skills
experience managing logistics in urban enviornments with complex stakeholder engagement
highly organised, methodical and proactive in approach
supervisor
Responsibility
supervise and coordinate demolition activities on-site, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications
manage a team of workers, providing guidance and training as necessary to ensure high-quality workmanship
conduct site inspections to assess progress, quality, and adherence to project timelines
collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets
utilize construction estimating skills to prepare accurate cost assessments for demolition projects
ensure proper use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment on-site
read and interpret drawings, schematics, and construction plans to execute demolition tasks effectively
oversee the safe removal of materials such as concrete, plastering, masonry, roofing, and flooring during demolition processes

CPCS A73 or NPORS N403 is essential for this position
excellent communication skills for clear instructions and coordination

knowledge of project scheduling, construction management, and system design principles is a plus
experience with transportation planning, civil engineering concepts, and technical writing enhances effectiveness in this role
