Responsibility

  • you will provide support and companionship as well as being patient and understanding with a calm and friendly approach
  • personal Care Assistant required to support and assist a male in his 60’s who has been in rehabilitation and now ready to return to his own home to live as independently as possible
  • your daily duties will include light cleaning, laundry, shopping, meal preparation, medication, personal care, help to get dressed, medical appointments, and social activities
  • part of the care provided is maintaining a healthy and balanced lifestyle through daily and weekly schedules to meet friends and family, gym workouts and socials

Requirements

  • must have some experience as a carer
  • you will need a driving licence, and access to a vehicle with insurance to include use for business
  • good communication skills
