  • we require an experienced Field Care Coordinator for our Hackney Branch
  • we are a domiciliary care provider based in London looking for a full-time care coordinator to join our dedicated forward-thinking team
  • assisting in recruiting Care and Support Workers will also be a part of the role
  • to support service users and care staff by coordinating their visits and calls
  • to work closely with the care needs assessor and other team members to enable the smooth running of the service
  • the Field Care Coordinator will work closely with the Registered Manager, planning rotas, briefing carers prior to care calls, conducting supervisions and managing customer visits when required
  • ensure that care workers with the correct skills and experience are matched to deliver excellent care to our clients

Responsibility

  • ensure the quality of the branch through a system of staff supervision, staff rota compliance, monthly staff meeting, training matrix, robust staff recruitment and documentation, annual staff training and refreshers and
  • ensuring the business is in line with J.C Michael Groups’ policies and in line with regulatory and ethical standards
  • keep track of the annual upgrades on Training Reference Guide and Document Reference Guide to reflect changes in auditing tools
  • assist in all other tasks, periodic, ad hoc or otherwise, as directed by your Line Manager
  • ensure issues are highlighted and appropriately escalated to allow resolution in a timely manner

Requirements

  • minimum NVQ2 in Health and Social care and or working towards NVQ3
  • 3 years' experience of working within the care sector

  • driving license is an advantage but not required
  • clear PVG
  • the candidate will have either have a management qualification at SVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care or higher together with a minimum of 3 years management experience in a health care related role
