Responsibility
- you will be responsible for navigating a designated delivery route, making multiple stops to deliver packages, and providing exceptional customer service
- safely operate a company-provided delivery vehicle, such as a van or truck, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations
- plan and optimise delivery routes to ensure the most efficient use of time and resources
- load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and secure placement
- accurately verify and match delivery documents with packages to ensure correct order fulfillment
- effectively communicate and coordinate with the dispatch team to receive delivery instructions and updates
- as a Delivery and Collection Driver, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and timely delivery of goods to customers
- provide exceptional customer service by delivering packages in a friendly, professional, and timely manner
Requirements
- minimum of 1 year’s commercial van driving experience
- must have been driving a commercial vehicle in the last 12 months
- expereince driving a Transit van
- this position requires excellent driving skills, organisational abilities, and a strong commitment to meeting delivery deadlines
- full UK or Euro Driving license held for longer than 1 year and a maximum of 6 points with no active , DR or TT codes
- your commitment to exceptional customer service and efficient deliveries will contribute to our mission of providing outstanding service to our valued customers
- be able to commute to and from the delivery station in Croydon
