Responsibility

  • to carry out all aspects of cleaning as required
  • to carry out carpet cleaning as required
  • to clean and tidy bathroom and toilet areas as required
  • to polish furniture and fittings as required
  • to clean and polish windows interiors, window ledges and doors regularly
  • to replenish toilet rolls, soap and paper towels and provide feedback on stock levels as necessary
  • we are currently recruiting for part time Domestic Assistants to carry out domestic cleaning duties including vacuuming, polishing, mopping and ensuring the Home is kept clean, tidy and well maintained for residents, staff and visitors
  • 10. Report immediately to the Nurse manager, or Person in Charge, any illness of an infectious nature or accident incurred by a Resident, colleague, self or another

Responsibility

  • support the Home Manager during inspections and audits relating to maintenance and health & safety
  • ensure the home remains compliant with current statutory regulations and best practices
  • maintain an asset register and service contracts for key equipment
  • maintain records of all inspections, servicing, and repairs for regulatory compliance
  • to maintain and keep tidy the gardens, hedges, shrubs and flower beds
  • ensure that all maintenance issues reported by staff or residents are recorded and dealt with in a timely manner
