Responsibility

  • working on large scale energy and other infrastructure projects, you will be a vital part of our legal teams
  • you will be drafting, reviewing and negotiating legal documents and agreements
  • leading a team of junior/trainee legal executives
  • ensuring the quality of work within the team is of the quality required
  • responding to queries and updating clients as needed
  • helping develop working practices, putting your stamp on how the team works
  • working across both the Real Estate and Planning units, you'll be pulling together strands from multiple sources at the same time
  • dealing with large volumes of landowner agreements, specialist agreements and other legal documentation

Requirements

  • strong attention to detail is required due to the nature of the work
  • strong experience as a legal executive, ideally at chartered status
  • staying calm under pressure, often working to tight timelines/turnarounds whilst maintaining attention to detail
  • interest in learning and researching
  • demonstrated ability to learn and research
  • basic legal training to support in reviewing drafting and negotiating land and related commercial agreements and contracts
  • excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with a range of stakeholders from solicitors, partners, marketing, client support team, legal support and other legal executives
