Responsibility

  • manage a portfolio of supplier accounts
  • import purchase invoices on to Sage
  • reconcile supplier statements and organise payments in line with agreed terms
  • liaise with suppliers on queries, directing queries internally as required
  • posting bank payments to sage as they are made and allocating supplier payments to invoices
  • review supplier accounts on a regular basis to question old, outstanding balances
  • other ad hoc accounting duties as and when required

Requirements

  • knowledge of Sage Line 50
  • previous experience in purchase ledger
  • excellent communication skills with external parties as well as colleagues
  • an ability to work well under pressure
  • excellent at problem solving
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • accounts Payable: 1 year

Responsibility

  • it will involve the management of stock levels, including ordering from suppliers, processing invoices and data management

  • we are looking for a Business Admin Level 3 candidate for an apprenticeship. The apprenticeship will last 12-18 months and will lead to a permanent position for the right candidate
  • being the primary reception contact for the site
  • the Depot Administrator will be working with both the depot and transport sides of the business, the role is to provide full administrative support to the operation in Goole
  • this will include speaking with internal and external contacts, transferring important information from customers and suppliers into our bespoke computer system and using the system to generate reports

Responsibility

  • schedule maintenance of all fleet vehicles in line with legal and company requirements
  • communicate effectively with the planning department to ensure maintenance requirements are delivered
  • monitor drivers hours through the RHA system and share data with the Transport Manager
  • day-to-day communication with HGV drivers, including some planning / operational input

Requirements

  • logistics & Transport: 2 years
  • A Transport Manager CPC would be an advantage, but is not essential. Candidates must have experience of working in the transport industry, preferably working with bulk liquid chemicals or food products
