- assist the Maintenance Manager in his duties and to ensure smooth running of the hotel
- support outside contractors where necessary
- ensure that the check-in and check-out process runs as smoothly as possible and that guests are escorted to the correct room
- respond to requests or complaints made by guests in a professional and polite manner in order to guarantee customer satisfaction
- implement procedures to improve services offered with the aim of attracting more customers
- understand what guest expectations are and anticipating problems in order to prevent complaints
- handle cash or payments made by credit card
- understand safety and emergency procedures
- the successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent communication and customer service skills

- assist in setting up and servicing event rooms
- conduct regular floor walks and security checks of fire exits and public areas, reporting any irregularities to the manager on duty
