Requirements
- demonstrable ability to effectively direct an operational team
- experience of dealing with a wide range of colleagues and customers
- control the receipt and segregation for recycling of waste received, engaging with commercial customers as well as members of the public
- experience or ability to demonstrate suitability for physical work involving lifting up to 25kg
- direct and control the loading and transfer of waste, recyclable and reusable materials to final disposal points
- ability to gain LGV Class II licence and ability to drive/operate a range of mobile plant, equipment and vehicles
- carry out general site duties including housekeeping of site grounds, buildings and staff facilities, maintaining a high standard of housekeeping
- willingness to be work flexibly and adapt to changing roles in order to meet operational requirements
Responsibility
- guiding and improving employee engagement and safety culture will be a key part of this role
