Requirements

  • experienced in TRR and sub-duct
  • minimum three years installation experience, internally and externally, of various grades of fibre optic cabling with various termination types; Have a proven track of record of fibre optic splicing
  • full right to work in UK unrestricted

Responsibility

  • installation of Cat6 and Cat6a cabling
  • termination of Cat6/6a and fibre Panels
  • termination of Cat6/6a wall outlets
  • conducting onsite cabling surveys
  • experience within a hands-on trade and tools
  • installation of optical fibre cable, bundles and blown fibre tubing using fibre blowing equipment to required standards, including fault finding on existing network
  • excellent customer service skills, as you will be visiting households and businesses
  • splicing and testing of external optical fibres to the end customer premise in line with quality standards using OTDR /ILM/PMD/CD/EXFO FTB200 or similar
