Responsibility

  • leading and managing the Payroll Managed Service, driving operational excellence, and promoting professional development
  • effectively manage Customer slippage and late data submission, advising on Supplementary Pay runs and chargeable re-runs as appropriate
  • measure client non adherence to agreed submission deadlines and liaise with clients to maintain delivery against agreed deadlines
  • ensuring all client queries are responded to and resolved within the BrightHR SLA

Requirements

  • deep understanding of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations

  • use of visual management and daily short interval control boards would be an advantage
  • previous experience in either delivering or managing Outsourced payroll services, ideally within a Bureau environment
  • deliver capacity management methodology that support accurate and timely Payroll Processing, monitoring individual Payslip productivity metrics and reporting on challenges during peak processing
  • CIPP qualified, or suitably qualified by experience

  • deliver accurate and timely payroll processing, ensuring gross to net calculations are administered through Brighthr’s software solution in a timely fashion
  • knowledge of Auto enrolment rules and principles ensuring accurate and timely pensions administration for clients on a periodic basis
  • ensure all your transactions are appropriately peer checked for accuracy accepting all training needs and developmental feedback as necessary
  • have a solid understanding of end-to-end payroll processing, and follow the Payroll Processing Checklist to ensure all activities are carried out and completed in a timely fashion

  • an ability to translate payroll processing activity from gross to net pay, and answer queries on net pay impacting changes, with confidence

Requirements

  • an understanding of UK payroll legislation and tax regulations. CIPP qualified, or suitably qualified by experience
  • previous experience in either delivering or managing end to end Outsourced payroll services, ideally within a Bureau environment
  • the ability to become a brand ambassador for BrightHR and its sister companies
  • you will have a good working knowledge of all common Payroll documentation such as MatB1’s P45’s New Starter Checklists, Court Orders and so on
