- the Role
- we wish to appoint a Build Estimator to enable further growth of our highly successful team
- you will be expected to interface with both our existing and prospective new clients
- this position will involve the day-to-day management of the tender process to ensure standards are maintained and deadlines are met
- this is a permanent position with strong career prospects
- the candidate will be responsible for the production of detailed tender bids, cost plans, attending site visits, mid and post tender meetings and post tender control
- whilst build / construction biased, the position also demands a preferable knowledge of mechanical & electrical engineering services associated with the installations
- candidates will need to demonstrate a broad knowledge of the industry and will have experience in a wide range of sectors, including Education, Commercial, Health, Pharmaceutical, Industrial and Plant Replacement projects
Requirements
- the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years experience from a Contracting background
- formal qualifications are not necessary, although an HNC/HND or similar in a construction related qualification would be considered an advantage
- A proven track record in a similar position is however considered essential
