Responsibility

  • assist the dentist during dental procedures, ensuring the comfort and safety of patients
  • prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • take and develop dental x-rays as instructed by the dentist
  • provide chairside assistance during dental treatments
  • educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
  • maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
  • schedule appointments and manage patient flow in the dental office
  • perform basic administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and managing patient records

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Dental Nurse or similar role
  • valid Dental Nursing qualification/certification
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
  • knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques
  • ability to provide exceptional patient care with empathy and compassion
  • basic IT skills for maintaining digital patient records
