ensure that all changes you make to the rota whilst on-call are signed and explained in the on-call book
that all activities/holidays are fully risk assessed and planned and recorded clearly prior to commencement
ensure all bills are paid and correctly filed away with the correct person paying
petty Cash and tenants monies are safe guarded and that only agreed purchases are made. Budgets adhered to and receipts filed on a daily basis. Ensure that Petty Cash is topped up every Friday, when needed and appropriate to the cause
ensure steps are taken to avoid waste and to ensure viability of the service
ensure keyworkers carry out keyworker roles fully, including written monthly reviews

ensure the management team are made aware of any issues/concerns/incidents/accidents or anything affecting the well-being of individuals or staff
ensure that all employees that work within your area of responsibility follow clear guidelines, policy and procedure and ensure that any breaches are reported and actioned immediately
offer stability within Boyce Care in the absence of the management team, and act a mentor to all new employees
to assist if required in the follow up of any accidents/incidents within the company at all levels, including any investigations or implementing any actions that may be necessary
ensure that any concerns you have with the support of individuals are reported to your line manager immediately
that all activities/holidays are fully risk assessed before they take place

Responsibility
to assist with Senior staff in resolving staff problems according to the location’s grievance procedure, in conjunction with the Manager
to ensure that each location is aware of employee’s holidays , and to en-sure that adequate records are maintained for reviews
in addition to the above, you may be requested to carry out any other tasks that maybe considered a reasonable request in line with the role of a Deputy Manager
to attend any other Management or Staff Meetings as required
to assist in providing a good communication network between team members to ensure continuity of care and treatment are delivered to the Service User group
to monitor activity sheets – to ensure that money is accountable and that accurate records are maintained
to assist with input into the Group’s regular Newsletter, as and when necessary
where necessary, to act as Manager at locations and to ensure that adequate back-up and support is in place to allow their dual-role within the company
