Responsibility
provide accurate & timely draft management accounts
assist in the year end accounts and the audit process
assist in the preparation of budgeting and forecasting models
ensure that all reconciliations are completed in a timely manner
ensure that all reporting deadlines and payments for HMRC are met
challenge any transactions that do not comply with the companies procedures
ensure that the accounting policies & procedures are adhered to and to look for ways to improve them
to be the subject matter expert on the accounting system and the main reference point for all users
Requirements
A hands-on person, comfortable in supervising a small team, and equally keen to ‘roll your sleeves up’
A bright and ambitious person who is professional and personable
diligent, methodical, numerate and have a keen interest in business
