delivery van driver

Working hours

  • full-time | Permanent

Responsibility

  • earnings will be between £550 and £650 a week, Mon to Friday
  • we are the largest privately owned blind distributer in the country and an opportunity has arisen to base a driver in the Oxfordshire area
  • the successful applicant will need to be comfortable with dealing with customers and will need to be of a responsible nature as they will be working remotely from the main team
  • the successful applicant will need to enjoy driving as the route will cover around 200 miles a day, delivering to approx 25 locations
  • no more than 6 penalty points and we are unable to accept applicants that have been disqualifies for Driving whilst under the influence of drink or drugs

Requirements

  • complete multiple deliveries to customers in the GU, SO and PO postcode areas
  • maintain a high level of attention to detail
  • ensure correct completion of customer documentation
  • sort and load route to van
  • complete daily safety checks, safe loading / securing load of vehicle
  • scanning items for delivery using a mobile device
  • excellent planning and organizational skills
  • ability to make good decisions and work under pressure
