- report to the duty manager as needed
- ensure excellent customer service
- greet guests, advising them of room procedures, table booking and local knowledge
- manage the operation of the reception desk, responding guest enquiries
- handle guest enquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner, understanding when to escalate to the duty manager
- sell accommodation effectively, coordinating all room bookings
- answer all incoming calls and email enquiries
- communicate effectively with maintenance and operations to resolve guest issues and accommodation defects

- greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- deliver orders to tables in a timely manner
- provide excellent customer service and address any guest concerns
- collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely food preparation and delivery
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
- process payments and handle cash transactions accurately
- previous experience as a server or in a similar role is preferred but not required
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

- cleaning of the bar and food storage areas, its surrounds and equipment
- carry out any other duty as directed by the duty manager, in accordance with the level of the role
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers

- handle cash transactions and operate the cash register

- provide support to the finance team as needed
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- assist with all company administration including Human Resources plus Health & Safety to ensure compliance with regulations
