Responsibility

  • operate telehandlers to transport materials and equipment around the site
  • load and unload materials from lorries and other vehicles
  • ensure the telehandler is maintained in good working condition by performing regular checks and reporting any issues
  • collaborate with site managers and other team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • follow safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe working environment
  • assist with excavation tasks as needed, demonstrating versatility in machinery operation

Requirements

  • proven experience in commercial driving is essential for this role
  • strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain equipment effectively
  • experience operating excavators is highly desirable, enhancing versatility on site
  • excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members effectively
  • ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
