Responsibility
- surface Repair Technician - "Magic Man"
- collaborate with the Head of Production to integrate repair processes seamlessly within our production timelines
- assess PPC aluminium panels and extrusions rigorously, identifying imperfections and blemishes for repair
- execute precise paint repairs, utilizing colour-matching techniques to restore surfaces to their original condition
- work closely with the production team to ensure products meet our exacting quality standards before leaving the factory
- maintain a methodical inventory of paint and repair materials, ensuring readiness for all repair tasks
- coordinate with site managers and clients to perform on-site repairs, demonstrating flexibility to accommodate various work hours
- conduct thorough quality assurance checks on repaired surfaces to guarantee adherence to company standards
Requirements
- proven experience in surface repair, paint touch-up, or similar roles, showcasing meticulous attention to detail
- proficiency in colour matching, surface preparation, and paint application techniques
- familiarity with the specific repair requirements of powder-coated aluminium materials
- strong organizational skills to effectively manage repair schedules, materials, and documentation
- exceptional communication abilities for seamless collaboration with internal teams, clients, and site personnel
- self-motivated and adaptable, excelling both independently and within a team environment
- possession of a full UK driving license
