senior support worker
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- unfortunately, we are unable to offer sponsorships
- joining a supportive management team within the home to develop and update a range of paperwork, including Care Plans, Behaviour Support Plans and Risk Assessments
Requirements
- experience working with children/young people in a Residential Childcare setting, for at least two years
- experience in a supervisory capacity for at least one year
- A genuine passion for care and to be motivated by contributing to the progression of others
- A strong team player
- knowledge of the Children’s Home Regulations and Ofsted Requirements
- resilience to keep going at difficult times and to ask for support if needed
- an NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent and be willing to work towards an NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare
- excellent written and oral communication skills
