Responsibility

  • call handling - inbound and outbound
  • sales calls, follow ups and upselling
  • managing the job diary for the engineer
  • using our various software tools to manage new leads, campaigns, marketing and any business invoices/budgets
  • managing staff and future staff, including interviews and paperwork management
  • adhering to a default diary and time management system
  • other tasks where needed and requested by the team
  • taking camera and video images to assist with our marketing - this is a big part of our culture

Requirements

  • minimum 8 years proven track record in gas and heating engineering
  • A valid clean driver's license
  • excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
  • current ACS qualifications NVQ, C&G or equivalent in plumbing or heating (commercial gas would be an advantage but not essential
  • gas / heating: 7 years
  • commercial gas, lpg or air con , plumbing skills are an advantage but not essential however the mindset and passion to upskill is

  • installation, service and repair, and maintain gas boilers and heating systems, pipework, radiator work and powerflushing plus heating maintenance
  • ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
  • provide exceptional customer service and expert advice
  • be confident in installations of new boilers, cylinders, s plan, y plan and full systems
  • stripping down boilers for full service and repair is essential
  • be confident in boiler and system wiring including wiring of heating controls
  • participate in training and development programs to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies
  • conduct diagnostic of boiler and heating faults and troubleshooting tasks to identify and resolve issues on all boiler and heating system types
