Responsibility
- biocomposites, Ltd
- assisting with internal, external and supplier audits
- manage relationships with third-party testing laboratories, including coordination of bioburden testing, sterility testing, and endotoxin analysis
- biocomposites products are now used in over 120,000 procedures every year and sold in more than 40 countries around the world
- interpret microbiological test results and prepare reports, justifications, and summaries
- review and approve sterilisation and microbiological test protocols and reports from external labs
- provide input into risk assessments, root cause analysis, and nonconformance investigations related to microbiological and sterilisation issues
- is an international medical devices company that engineers, manufactures and markets world leading products for use in infection management in bone and soft tissue
Requirements
- level 4 qualification or equivalent in microbiology or life sciences, or relevant experience
- any qualification relating to life sciences or contamination control
- working knowledge of microbiology techniques and/or sterilisation
- able to act on initiative
- good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
- car driver
- 2+ years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment or test laboratory
- 3+ years’ work experience within healthcare or food
