Requirements
- A relevant degree or equivalent laboratory experience
Responsibility
- to clean, calibrate and maintain equipment, and prepare and maintain reagents, standards or control samples
- to assist with the training of junior staff in routine procedures
- to assist other members of the Laboratory Services Unit as required
- to assist with documentation preparation and review, under appropriate supervision
- to perform and maintain procedures to ensure effective treatment and disposal of contaminated laboratory waste according to standard operating procedures
- to prepare in house media and reagents as requested
