  • A vacancy has arisen in our 28 bed care home in Edinburgh for a deputy manager
  • applicants must be a registered nurse with a valid NMC pin and no restrictions on practise
  • previous experience in supervision and leadership is desirable but not essential

  • the position is full time day shift. The job will involve running the floor as the nurse as well as supernumary time. Exact hours and salary will be discussed with individual applicants as there is a degree of flexibility
  • the Deputy Manager has full responsibility for managing the day to day running of the home alongside the Manager and in the Manager’s absence
  • the Deputy Manager’s approach should promote a caring, inclusive and person centred environment that complies with the National Care Standards and all other regulations
  • the aim of the job is to provide a high standard of specialised personal care, meeting individual needs, ensuring respect and dignity at all times for every client
