Responsibility
- to learn and fully understand the product range and possibilities for bespoke solutions/machinery
- being able to combine a developing technical knowledge with sales skills
- work towards building relationships with existing customers within specific industries
- berry Recruitment are currently looking for a Sales Engineer for a client based in King's Lynn who are a busy manufacturing business
- develop new clients within product areas including with some soft targets and some cold contacts
- manage and interpret customer enquiries via email/telephone or site visit and specify the correct equipment for the applications
- visit Clients nationally, to assess breakdowns, repairs, new leads and reactive quick turnaround projects as required
- picture and measure jobs to price and quote
Requirements
- A solid technical background
- sound judgement and good business sense
- teamworking ability
- the ability to build relationships with clients quickly
- analytical and problem-solving skills
- resilience and tenacity
- A full UK driving license
- working hours are Monday to Friday 7am-3pm
