Responsibility
- to manage the home in regulatory compliance with OFSTED regulations, legislation, and the ethos and policies of the company
- to protect the children from harm in and outside the home
- we are currently looking to recruit a deputy manager for a residential children's home in Burton on Trent. This is a great opportunity to join a growing company and to be able to help support and shape the lives of children and young people
- to ensure that the children’s needs are recognised and met
- to act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for the Home and ensure that any safeguarding concerns are raised in the appropriate manner, and in a timely fashion
- to be the responsible person in managing child protection concerns and complaints
- to ensure that all rotas, training, mentoring and supervisions of staff are kept up to date
- the Code of Conduct and Behaviour and relevant policies
