- ensure the accuracy of time recording entries for all staff & investigate anomolies & variances to forecast
- process fortnightly & monthly payroll & related government submissions
- reconcile bank and credit card statements
- assist in month end reporting
- assist with budgeting and forecasting
- assist in stock control
- collaborate with the accounting team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standard accounting practices
Requirements
- proven work experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role
- strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- proficiency in accounting software and tools
- excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to handle confidential financial information
- effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- familiarity with the hospitality industry is preferred
