Responsibility
- determine staffing requirements, financial, material, and other short- and long-term requirements
- plan work schedules/rotas, assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to staff
- arranges for payment of bills, keeps accounts and adheres to health, safety, and other statutory requirements
- maintain contact between service users and the local community and/or family and friends
- assess service users’ needs and ensures they have access to health and social care services as required
- create a friendly, fun, safe and secure atmosphere and gain the trust and confidence of those using the service
- to support the delivery of induction training for professional carers including moving and handling, first aid and other mandatory training
- support the effective resolution of team conflicts
Requirements
- NVQ/QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care
