Responsibility

  • determine staffing requirements, financial, material, and other short- and long-term requirements
  • plan work schedules/rotas, assign tasks and delegate responsibilities to staff
  • arranges for payment of bills, keeps accounts and adheres to health, safety, and other statutory requirements
  • maintain contact between service users and the local community and/or family and friends
  • assess service users’ needs and ensures they have access to health and social care services as required
  • create a friendly, fun, safe and secure atmosphere and gain the trust and confidence of those using the service
  • to support the delivery of induction training for professional carers including moving and handling, first aid and other mandatory training
  • support the effective resolution of team conflicts
