- familiar with Group policy and Conditional access policy
- function as the first point of contact to the customer for all types of service requests
- required to be on Phone Support when not actively working a case
- process service requests as they arrive through direct customer call or other communication vehicle
- self-Assign incoming cases by identifying and investigating users’ questions and problems and providing immediate solutions when applicable
- escalate client support cases that cannot be remedied quickly to appropriate resource following the escalation process and procedures
- responsible for entering time and all work with proper updates in ticketing system as it occurs
- apply technical knowledge to quickly resolve end user related opportunities such as password resets for the various applications supported
- addressing email related issues
- design, implement and support of the customer network infrastructure
- on a project basis, may be required to work in maintenance windows outside of normal business hours
- participate in the design, setup and configuration of complex L2/L3 switch infrastructure
- when requested, attends IT meetings and scheduled teleconferences
- provide 2nd and 3rd level support for the entire LAN
- prioritize project issues according to contracted SLA
- contribute to the ongoing development of network and security standards while adhering to best practices and procedures
- escalate project issues that cannot be completed within agreed service levels
- BS Degree in the field of Computer Science or at least 5 years equivalent work experience with certification
- CCNP, MCSE and other industry recognized IT certifications
- experienced with network monitoring tools
- engineer must possess strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting skills and recommend next appropriate actions
- demonstrated Data Center/Sever room build out experience
- engineer must be able to work in a fast-pace, changing environment where they need to work on numerous projects at once
- A team player with strong customer-oriented attitude, interpersonal skills and works well in a multicultural workplace
- in-depth knowledge of network technologies such as VLAN, STP, LACP, MPLS, L2VPN, Routing protocols , DNS, Proxy, etc
- responsible for technical break/fix support for all Information Technology Support systems currently deployed in production
- interface and maintain effective communication with business users and other ITS team members when analyzing, updating and resolving cases
- responsible for administration, maintenance and second level support of back-end global ITS systems
- identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems in production
- escalate client support cases to appropriate resource following the escalation process and procedures
- data entry may be required for new and active clients on Ticketing system
- responsible for entering time and all work with proper updates in Ticketing system as it occurs
- other duties as assigned
- previous MSP experience, or experience supporting external customer base
- advanced understanding of operating systems , printing systems, network topology, Linux/Unix command
- continually advancing your knowledge base through certification courses
- education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- IT Experience: 3 years minimum
