quality assurance manager
Responsibility
- to maintain the Quality Manual and systems to the required BRC standard
- to liaise with customers and suppliers regarding any quality or food safety issues
- to liaise with the supply base to ensure compliance with Bawnbua supplier approval criteria
- to supervise and manage the QA staff and Hygiene staff
- to ensure that all QA records are completed, recorded and filed accurately
- to work with the Production Manager and Supervisors ensuring that all production activities meet the required standards
- to work with the Management Team to ensure technical audits are managed effectively
- to understand the role of the Technical Manager and be able to deputise
Education
- certificate of Higher Education
Requirements
- clean UK/EU driving license
- minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience working in Quality / Technical role
- third level qualification Degree or HNC/D in a relevant food related discipline
- ability to effectively plan and organise to meet deadlines
- strong IT skills and an ability to record and present information in a concise format
- the ability to work well under pressure and to play your role in a busy team environment
- excellent communicator with positive leadership skills
- quality assurance: 2 years
