Requirements

  • relevant industry experience and competency in the use of REVIT for buildings design engineering projects, with significant pipework detailing experience
  • relevant Water and Infrastructure industry experience and competency in the use of 2D / 3D AutoCAD
  • experience with an R.C. detailing package is desirable
  • experience of UK water assets and standard details or equivalent is desirable
  • ✔ Proven experience producing technical models and drawings using AutoCAD, with 2-5 years’ experience in industry
  • ✔ Strong knowledge of structures, earthworks, or infrastructure design desirable
  • A proven track record of producing quality models and accurate drawings using design software

Responsibility

  • produce detailed design drawings, 3D models, plans and cross-sections using AutoCAD and Civils 3D
  • lead the preparation of conceptual and construction-ready drawing packages
  • work independently with a strong sense of ownership over your deliverables
  • collaborate with engineers and fellow technicians to meet project deadlines and quality standards
  • follow Ayesa’s Integrated Management System to ensure quality, safety, and compliance
  • contribute to project delivery and innovation across the design process
  • participate in team effort to effectively deliver project

structural cad technician

Responsibility

  • production of general arrangement and reinforcement CAD work on Geotechnical, Civil and Structural projects
  • comply with relevant office standards and safety, legal, ethical and regulatory requirements
  • ability to make appropriate judgements and decisions and exercise initiative
  • assisting at the tender stage of projects
  • management of projects in compliance with Ayesa’s Integrated Management System

Requirements

  • an experienced Autodesk AutoCAD user with a Construction/Engineering/Architectural/CAD third level qualification
  • A basic understanding of Revit and/or Reinforced Concrete detailing would be hugely advantageous, but not essential
  • can adhere to CAD Standards, Document Control, Codes of Practice, Design Standards and Health and Safety Regulations
  • excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills
  • minimum of 4 years’ experience in architectural/structural/civil environment on construction projects, with a proven track record of producing quality drawing work to tight deadlines
  • works with the engineer as a member of a design team to ensure that designs are delivered in a timely and professional manner to our clients
