Responsibility

  • axtell Limited is a long established and expanding supplier of goods and services to the construction industry
  • we are looking for experienced HGV drivers to drive 8-wheel tipper trucks
  • from our Hurtmore depot in Surrey we supply ready-mix concrete, screed, aggregates, muck-away, grab and concrete pump hire, to the surrounding area
  • delivering, batching, and pouring concrete
  • taking muck from sites to landfill facilities
  • operating mixer
  • delivering aggregates to construction sites
  • loading mixer with loading shovel

Requirements

  • have held an HGV Class 2 licence for at least two years
  • have a digital-tacho card and driver CPC
  • be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • have a great attitude and strong work ethic
  • be capable and confident in your ability
  • have a good geographical knowledge of our operating area

plant fitter

Requirements

  • solid technical knowledge of plant and machinery
  • experience with asphalt equipment/paver
  • confidence in hydraulics, electrical repairs, and welding
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • good understanding of health and safety
  • flexible, organised, and deadline-oriented
  • full UK driving licence
  • plant Fitter : 3 years

Responsibility

  • supporting teams to minimise downtime and maintain efficiency

hgv driver

Requirements

  • be experienced and competent in operating a grab crane
  • have held an HGV Class 2 licence for at least two years
  • have a digital-tacho card and driver CPC
  • be reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • have a great attitude and strong work ethic
  • be capable and confident in your ability
  • have a good geographical knowledge of our operating area
  • be a holder of a relevant operators card would be an advantage

Responsibility

  • taking muck from sites to landfill facilities
  • delivering aggregates to construction sites
  • undertaking routine vehicle checks
  • ensuring the load is correctly secured by use of an easy sheet
  • issuing receipts
  • customer service
