Responsibility
- loading and unloading of deliveries/customer orders
- general forklift duties
- provide assistance to fabricators/welders where necessary
- AVW Fabrications Ltd is a family run business established in 1988 and located in Leicester with close links to the M1, M69 and A46. We specialise in laser cutting and sheet metal fabrication and pride ourselves on excellent customer service
- assisting with any requirements within the Company’s powder coat facility
- the Company is looking for a General Operative to join our growing team who displays an enthusiastic positive attitude and can work from both set instructions and their own initiative
- maintenance and upkeep of tooling and machinery as required
- collecting orders from suppliers and deliveries to customer locations
Requirements
- working in a methodical and organised manner
- full driving licence
- forklift licence preferable
- accurate measuring ability and good level of numeracy and literacy skills
