Responsibility
we are currently seeking a Level 2 Field Technician, who has a strong background with hands-on IT support and hardware replacements
diagnose, research and troubleshoot computer system issues Hardware and software - networking, VPN, connectivity, server, and other network devices/peripherals
respond promptly and professionally to alerts and end-user IT issues
install, configure, and support desktops, laptops, virtual machines, mobile phones, VOIP products, servers, backup systems and miscellaneous devices
travel within primarily a 125km radius of the Mildenhall area to customer locations
ad-hoc travel outside of above radius is required at times
monitor and update Service Desk incident tracking tickets for purposes of demonstrating compliance with issue response and resolution, logging daily activities and documenting solutions
function as primary point of contact and communication with customer from assignment of ticket to successful resolution of issue, including scheduling work and keeping customer aware of work status and solution progress
Requirements
US citizenship
working VISA
experience troubleshooting Active Directory, TCP/IP networks, and common PC and Mac applications/operating systems, Exchange and Office 365
experience working with WANs, LANs, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches
strong knowledge and experience with computer/server hardware and software trouble shooting
experience using centralized management tools for disk imaging, installing software packages, patching, and monitoring IT systems
experience with DELL specific hardware replacements a plus
network engineer

perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of desktop problems for clients, recommend and implement corrective solutions
utilize the ticket management system to record, update and resolve tickets from the Helpdesk
