Requirements

Responsibility

  • efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles manually, ensuring careful handling of items to prevent damage
  • regularly inspect incoming and outgoing items for damage or missing pieces and promptly report any issues to the appropriate team member
  • transport received items to designated storage areas within the warehouse, ensuring correct placement for easy retrieval
  • assist with the organisation of product transfers within the warehouse and load goods onto delivery vehicles efficiently and safely
  • adhere the health and safety protocols when handling goods, including proper lifting techniques and the use of personal protective equipment
  • handle merchandise with care at all times to prevent damage and maintain product integrity throughout the warehouse processes
  • use a hand-held scanner to locate and retrieve items from storage spaces based on customer orders, delivering them to the packing area or loading bay
  • contribute to the cleanliness and tidiness of the warehouse by promptly cleaning up spills, keeping it neat and properly disposing of waste
