Responsibility

  • to ensure all work undertaken has effective financial controls in place
  • to build relationships with current customers & seek new business / projects
  • ensure the financial and commercial elements of contracts with customers and suppliers are effectively managed
  • assist in financial negotiations with customers including face-to-face meetings
  • oversee reporting of P&L and order status reports to the MD
  • to ensure targets and objectives are monitored and maintained to suitably underpin financial targets

  • produce high quality and technically correct drawings, amend and revise drawings, produce plans in co-ordination with the Operations Team
  • create 2D/3D existing & proposed plans, technical drawings and initial concepts
  • use computer aided design technologies to produce and develop sketches, drawings and documents
  • take an active role in project and design team meetings and the coordination process
  • quality Assurance of drawings to ensure they are accurate and meet requirements
  • plus any other duties as required by the leadership team

Requirements

  • practical 3D-CAD experience – minimum of 1 years experience
  • computer literate particularly in the use of Solidworks
  • the ability to produce technical drawings
  • level 2 Diploma in Engineering Technology
  • level 2 or 3 Award in 2D Computer-Aided Design
  • level 3 Diploma in Engineering design and draughting
  • knowledge of health and safety requirements in order to design in line with industry standards
