the ideal candidate will have a background in continuous industrial finishing/coating processes or similar
management of the implementation of AssetCool’s coating technology at the customer

preparation of incisive management accounts, and analysis to support decision making processes by senior management and the board
preparing annual financial statements and tax returns, including the annual R&D tax credit claims
management of the annual budgeting process

assetCool currently outsources its financial functions, including payment runs, bookkeeping, payroll, management accounts preparation, statutory accounts, taxation, research and development tax credit claims, forecasting and cash management
reports for investors as required
in addition, there is a significant amount of analysis and reporting work relating to grant projects that is currently undertaken by operational staff

this role would suit either a newly qualified accountant, or a partly qualified accountant, looking for their first move out of the profession, and eager to work towards larger senior management roles in the future
electronics engineer

bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics and Communications or a related field
proven experience in embedded systems development, including hardware and firmware design
strong knowledge of microcontrollers and embedded platforms
familiarity with communication systems such as LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or similar
experience in PCB design and layout using tools like Altium or Eagle
knowledge of IoT and remote device communication frameworks
experience with integrating sensors, motor controllers, and other hardware into embedded systems
hands-on experience with hardware debugging tools
production engineer
Requirements
BSc in Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
minimum 5 years' experience in a hands-on production or manufacturing engineering role, preferably in robotics, automotive, aerospace, or mechatronics
proven track record of process improvement and implementing production best practices
experienced in CapEx projects and writing equipment specifications, FAT, SAT and processs validation
knowledgeable in process automation, robotics and application of AI and Machine Learning in assembly
strong attention to detail and quality control practices
experienced in problem solving, 8D and similar methodologies
proficient in interpreting technical drawings, electrical schematics, and mechanical assembly documents

production framework: PFMEA, SOPs, production records, detailed process flow diagram, specifications, data collection and analyses, continuous improvement and optimisation
equipment: Participate in CapEx projects to procure, install and commission new assembly lines. Responsible for equipment specifications, FAT, SAT and validation
compliance: Ensure all production activities meet relevant regulatory, safety, and quality standards
robot Production: Ensure effective and efficient robot assembly production, including mechanical, electrical, and software integration. Work on the line and assemble robots
