be the first point of contact for clients and new enquiries
arrange appointments for your fee earners, ensuring wider meeting requirements are identified and actioned
update client records on databases as required and to maintain records of client enquiries
prepare expenses claims on behalf of fee earners
proactively identify matters for closure and preparing final billing and/or return of client monies
arrange for new matter inception, including conflict searches, in conjunction with the Central File Opening team, and overseeing and co-ordinating new referrals
ensure all files are up to date, either by e-filing or hard copy filing
support the wider team when necessary such as holiday and sickness cover
Requirements
high degree of competence in the use of Microsoft Office
excellent verbal and written communication, with appropriate and effective use of grammar and punctuation, attention to detail, good organisational skills
