Requirements
- at least 2 years working in a BRC certified manufacturing environment
- the successful candidate will have Food Hygiene Level 3, HACCP qualifications, or be prepared to work towards them
- good leadership, interpersonal and team working skills
- decisive - even under pressure
- ability to influence and build positive relationships whilst delivering change
- ability to work across function and business units to achieve common goals and deliver the business plan
- ability to 'coach & train’ supervisors and operators
- good communication skills to manage the internal and external stakeholder expectations required to develop a culture of High Performance & Continuous Improvement
Responsibility
- drive and manage production schedules
- management of temporary agency labour to match peak production demand at optimum costs in each department
- implementation of Lean & Continuous Improvement systems in each department with support from the Production Manager and Continuous Improvement Facilitator
