this role will impact on the success of our Bakery through the effective management, monitoring, control and recording of the high standards of hygiene and housekeeping on the Bakery site, while complying with site food safety, authenticity, legality and quality requirements
production processes are monitored to ensure food safety standards are met
develop and continual improvement of our Company Quality Systems and Procedures
forwards and backwards traceability of all raw materials from goods inwards to despatch
records completed and filed for retrieval for traceability and due diligence purposes
reporting any out of specification raw materials, products, equipment or food contact packaging to enable resolution of issues
follow up of corrective actions to ensure root cause analysis has been put in place
internal audits conducted as per schedule, with any non-conformities being highlighted and corrective actions agreed and documented
Requirements
possess strong communication skills
HND / BSc Food Technology Qualification or equivalent
good attention to detail with proven problem solving skills
level 3 Food Safety Qualification
excellent time management skills
level 3 HACCP Qualification
ability to work both as part of a team and able to work on your own initiative
