Responsibility
- responsible for managing the CNC department, ensuring all product is delivered on time and to specification
- manage the performance of the Production team through leadership, training and development
- produce, and agree production schedules with the M.D. that are realistic, achievable and meet the departments financial objectives
- strive to improve operational efficiency and the elimination of waste
- manage production working hours to satisfy capacity demands, fulfil delivery needs and control associated costs
- manage machinery to maintain effective performance and safe operating at all times
- liaise with purchasing on the timely delivery of raw materials to minimise stockholding of non strategic stock, process consumables and tooling
- ensure Quality procedures are adhered to at all times
