Responsibility
● Implement and develop robust accounting processes for assigned entities and ensure compliance with controls
● Collaborate with and provide assistance to various departments, including Tax, FP&A, and operations teams, in analysing specific allocated P&L costs
● Responsible for completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
● Responsible for preparation and coordination of year-end information for audits and completion of local statutory accounts per filing deadlines
support and facilitate their PO process and gain better understanding of costs
ensure all the actuals and required accruals are understood prior to each financial close
● Monthly variances analysis of OPEX across all UK/US entities
this involves liaising with external service providers to be aware of local requirements and filing dates, providing information where necessary and ensuring returns are filed correctly
Requirements
● Ability to manage AP reconciliations and clear up
● Demonstrated skill in organising chaos and setting process up
● P&L - monitoring and allocation of costs to the correct cost centre
● Demonstrated ability to stick to deadlines in fast paced environment
the ideal candidate should have accountancy finance experience ideally in multi-currency organisations, with strong analytical and problem-solving skills to exercise independent judgement when performing all duties of the role
