Requirements

- A minimum of 3 years industry experience
- A clean UK driving licence
- A minimum of 2 years surveying experience
- strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and codes
Responsibility
- conduct thorough inspections of buildings to identify areas where fire-resistant barriers, known as fire stopping, are required, both commercial and residential
- inspection and Assessment: Meet with clients and survey works in multiple locations across the UK
- documentation: Document existing fire stopping installations and assess their condition and effectiveness
- recommendations: Provide detailed reports outlining necessary corrective actions and improvements to achieve or maintain fire safety compliance
- verification: Inspect and verify the installation of fire stopping materials and systems during construction or renovation projects
