Responsibility
- main Purpose of Job
- key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- the main purpose of this role is to drive optimisation and efficiency across the Finance Team, and co-ordination of Finance transformation and business readiness activities
- reviewing systems performance and identifying system issues
- co-ordinating system upgrades in Finance in conjunction with the IT department
- designing and implementing internal system controls to provide quality assurance over financial data
- reviewing and maintaining all financial systems policies and procedures
- collaborating with IT and financial staff to meet business requirements
Requirements
- qualified or part-qualified in a recognised accountancy qualification
- systems development and finance systems experience
- broad experience and knowledge of accounting systems
- experience working in project and BAU environments
- experience in a finance department. Ideally within a process manufacturing industry , but not essential
- excellent written and verbal communication skills – able to interpret complex financial data and explain it simply
- experience of process optimisation
- demonstrable experience of business readiness ownership
