Responsibility

  • ○ Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
  • ○ Work closely with the scientific and business operations teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
  • ● Own the manufacturing pipeline of Arctech Innovation’s bed bug lure-based surveillance tools and traps
  • ● Own the overall product development strategy of Arctech Innovation’s surveillance tools and traps, focused primarily on its bed bug product suite
  • ○ Handle supply chain set -up and management to feed into pricing and revenue modelling
  • ○ Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new technically feasible ideas that grow market share and improve customer experience
  • ● Work with the team to develop the sales and post-market strategy of Arctech Innovation’s surveillance tools and traps
  • ○ Balance the partnership between the scientific and technical development team and business and customer product needs to ensure activities are scoped and prioritised correctly

Requirements

  • A strong communicator, you are comfortable to present to senior leaders and key stakeholders
  • ● Demonstrable experience of launching a successful medtech/meddev/biotech product
  • ● Experience of devising a product strategy and gaining organisational buy-in
  • ● Familiarity with entomology, vector borne diseases and/or the pest control sector would be an advantage
  • ● Experience of regulated product labelling and advertising standards would be an advantage
  • you are a self-starter with the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment with a high level of flexibility, an ability to multitask, and experience of working with, and leading, cross-functional teams

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar role, with a focus on building infrastructure from scratch
  • knowledge of analytical chemistry or experience working with sensor data
  • strong knowledge of database systems and data architecture principles
  • familiarity with data visualization tools or platforms
  • experience with data pipeline tools and frameworks
  • background in mentoring or leading junior team members as the team grows
  • proficiency in cloud platforms for data storage and processing
  • interest in public health

Responsibility

  • build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, clean, and transform raw data into structured, searchable formats
  • design and manage databases or data warehouses optimized for high-performance querying and analysis
  • work closely with scientists and machine learning engineers to ensure data is ready for model development, including TensorFlow Lite workflows
  • automate data workflows and ensure reliable data delivery across various teams
  • plan for future growth, ensuring the infrastructure is capable of scaling as the data team expands and data volume increases
  • establish documentation and enforce best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
  • develop and implement a scalable data architecture to manage, store, and process large datasets generated from odour sensing and analytical chemistry experiments
  • contribute to our company values of innovation, integrity, impact, partnership and responsibility
