Our Professional Services Group provides multiple different risk solutions for professional firms across the UK. Our typical client would be advice based companies such as Financial Advisers, Accountants, Architects, Surveyors or Engineers, and we are expanding into less traditional advice giving firms such as Recruitment Consultants, Technology companies and other consultancy firms. Our clients typically require Professional Indemnity insurance and advice is given on other insurance products such as Cyber, Office combined packages, EL, PL, D&O and Property Owners. What the day will look like You'll be primarily responsible for day to day management of a portfolio of established accounts, ensuring retention and client happiness. Daily tasks will include To ensure timely submission of proposals to insurers, handling queries and requests on the customers’ behalf Preparation of renewal documentation including invitation, renewal schedules and clarification of claims whilst maintaining accuracy at all times. To deal with coverage queries from client and ensure that contract certainty is achieved. To ensure all post sale/alteration documentation is sent in a timely manner, including invoicing and policy issuance in order to meet business and regulatory requirements. Analysis of data and the ability to respond with relevant information to clients and/or third parties Establish and develop effective working relationships with Insurers

About the role As a Claims Service Adviser, you will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of claims on behalf of your allocation of commercial corporate clients. Yours will be a key role in ensuring all claims progress without delay and to the optimum conclusion. Responsibilities will include: Ensuring prompt intimation of claims to relevant insurer(s), establishing applicable coverage, and assisting client through any required disclosure or data gathering Co-ordinating claims from FNOL to settlement, advocating on behalf of your client and ensuring their interests are protected throughout. Providing expert guidance, technical analysis, and support to clients to facilitate the smooth progression of claims. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key client contacts Liaising with insurers, loss adjusters and other stakeholders including internal servicing contacts Accurate management of electronic claim files, processing all correspondence and diaries within SLA Where required, attend claims review meetings, and produce up to date reports containing current claims experience Skills and experience that will lead to success Experience of handling UK Commercial Insurance Claims with knowledge of Motor, Property or Liability.
