This includes actively calling and travelling to new customers.The right candidate should be able to cost, quote and operate their cargo with suppliers of their choice. Proven knowledge to Fill tenders or biding platforms. Experience of working in freight forwarding or supply chain and logistics environment.New business development or account management experience.Proven track record of onboarding new business including contract negotiation, business proposals and conversion.The CandidateFreight Forwarding experience requiredEntrepreneurial attitude, self-motivated.Experience in Planning vehicles and working close with Planners.Minimum 2 years' experience within a Sales and Warehousing.Knowledge of Import & Export procedures / processesProven experience of rate negotiation with both clients and third partiesHave a company 's portfolio of client leadsStrong commercials skills and business acumen are necessary as is the ability to identify and maximise opportunitiesCompetent decision makingAbility to work under pressure and to deadlinesIT literate and previous experience of using a CRM system/TMS Software or other transport related softwares.Duties:Cold calling, lead generation & customer appointments.F
