- manage and develop the SHEQ Plan with the Operations Director
- manage, review and update of the business Integrated Management System
- on-going improvement of existing SHEQ systems and procedures
- ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation and internal policies / procedures
- providing expert SHEQ advice and support including development of RAMs and SSofW to operational personnel
- identify, and manage training requirements
- plan and manage audits by internal and external bodies
- manage the production and communication of incident and accident investigations and provide Root Cause Analysis reports as directed
Requirements
- quality auditor or a solid understanding
- strong communicator with an ability to manage SHEQ matters within both site and office-based environments
- strong analytical and IT skills with the ability to produce plans, spreadsheets, reports, alerts and presentations
- good understanding of works in the civil engineering and/or utilities sectors
- minimum 3 years’ experience in a SHEQ management role
- NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

- line manage and support the Night Shift Health and Safety Adviser – completing detailed shift handover
- investigate and report on all accidents, incidents and near misses
- produce and review company Hornsea 03 Project Health, Safety and Environmental, policies and procedures for AMS Trenchless
- advise and liaise with client representatives, AMS management and employees on Health, Safety and Environmental Issues
- produce and compile the monthly Health and Safety statistics of the Hornsea 03 Project for AMS Trenchless Senior Management
- work in accordance with the company’s Integrated Management System
- to manage and implement preventive actions and improvements to the systems as required
Requirements
- offshore qualifies and experience preferred
- experience working on offshore projects is desirable
