Requirements

  • training in Person centred practices
  • NVQ Level 4 qualification in management or care and a commitment to complete a Level 5 qualification within an agreed time period

  • A driver with use of a vehicle for work purposes is essential for this role. This Role is Band II as per our Banding Structure

Requirements

  • detailed contemporary knowledge of the health and social care system
  • working knowledge of the relevant legislative requirements governing health and social care and related policy, practice, and regulatory frameworks
  • demonstrable understanding of safeguarding and serious incident practice and procedure and health and safety priorities
  • excellent communications skills, both written and verbal, report writing, Presentations and basic media handling skills
  • excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, ability to deal with a diverse range of people often in a pressurised environment
  • ability to demonstrate initiative, self-motivation and resourcefulness
  • ability to demonstrate a significant knowledge and understanding of the needs of people with mental health or learning disabilities and be familiar with the current views and best practice
