Responsibility
- the individual should have enthusiasm for science and wish to develop technically to understand water systems
- alpha Scientific are looking for a Late Shift Sample Scheduler to join our Scheduling team at our Slough Laboratory
- the Scheduler will play an active part in ensuring the highest quality of service to clients
- alpha Scientific are looking for a Sample Scheduler to join our Scheduling team at our Slough Laboratory
- the role will involve extensive use of the company LIMS system to allocate testing schedules to samples received
- the Scheduler will work together with the Laboratory Team to enable water testing to specific SOP’s and ensure all quality control procedures are followed
- have you got an eye for detail?
- have you got strong computer skills?
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- A level or equivalent, educated or have appropriate Laboratory / data entry / scheduling / sample programming experience
- A level or equivalent, or have appropriate Laboratory / data entry / scheduling / sample programming experience
- excellent IT skills with a high level of accuracy along with an eye for detail
- to have excellent communication and organisation skills
- to be able to work within set targets and goals, and be able to manage expectations
- to be able to work well in a team, with an reliable, open, honest and approachable character
